The Isle of Thanet Sunrise Rotary Club
Formed in 1996, by Rotary standards we are a new club and the youngest in Thanet.
We were one of the first mixed Rotary clubs in the UK and the first in Thanet to have a membership with Ladies. Having an evenly mixed membership generates a different personality to our club compared to an all male, one that is encouraged throughout Rotary.
Being a morning club with many members going straight to work, the dress and atmosphere is more relaxed and less formal than many evening clubs. We still have the opportunity to dress up as evening dinner and dances are held on regular occasions.
This section wil show that we are a club that attracts both business and retired people who want to help themselves and those around them.
